The George Hotel offers large and modern rooms with great decor, making it a comfortable and stylish choice. The hotel is ideally situated for visitors to the DC Mall, with easy access to the metro and nearby attractions. As low-budget travelers, we appreciated the complimentary hosted wine hour and the delicious home-baked cookies in our room. The free bike rental was a fantastic perk, allowing us to explore the National Mall easily. the George Hotel provided all the services of a large hotel while maintaining the intimacy and special touches of a boutique hotel.

Wonderful place, great for weekend. Terrific staff, clean hotel, quick breakfast. Fantastic boutique property set in the safe area. Plus, the hotel is based 25 minutes walk from national air space museum, popular spot in the city. Beautiful lobby. It also has complimentary internet and free parking.

This hotel is unique and clean, has professional staff and incredible location near Union Station.

The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was good. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linen and pillows were of high quality. The hotel had a lovely ambiance and the staff were friendly throughout. Additionally, the hotel offered a delicious à la carte breakfast.

The air conditioning was noisy and disturbed my sleep. Additionally, the staff, although friendly, were not in a hurry during breakfast service.

It was a great stay, supportive staff. We got brand-new room with two beds. Breakfast had a wide range of excellent food and drinks.

A bathroom door that is difficult to open and close, two blocks from the hotel are some roads to avoid in the evening.

Great location close to popular landmarks and Union Station. Room was clean and comfortable with modern decor. Free bike rental made it easy to explore this city on wheels. Wi-Fi speeds were fast, perfect for staying connected.

attention - we have been charged wordlessly almost 10% more than was stated in the booking confirmation. employee at the reception succinctly said that this is a common surcharge that the hotel always charges. there was nothing she could do.

I recently stayed at The George hotel for a few nights on my trip to our nation's capital. The hotel location was perfect, just minutes away from Union Station and the Capitol. The large rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the fast WiFi and in-room coffee machine. The free bike rental was a fantastic way to explore the National Mall. The staff at The George were attentive and made sure we had a great stay. The 5 o'clock wine hour was a fun experience where we met interesting people. The attached Bistro was a relaxing spot to unwind, and the fitness center was top-notch. a wonderful boutique hotel with excellent amenities and service.
